Jessica + Jordan

One thing I always do before photographing a couples wedding is making a phone call to get as much detail as I can of their big day. Jessica had quite the vision of her wedding day, I believe all of her dreams came true that day. Jordan and Jessica's wedding was probably one of the most fun I've had at a wedding, and so detail oriented. They really knew what was important to them, and by just meeting them that day I felt that I had known them for a long time because of the things they included at their wedding. To touch on some of them, the archway they were married under was hand built by them. The ring on her bouquet was her brothers who was also given a seat in remembrance. Her son walked her down the aisle, everyone was in tears. After they were married and kissed for the first time as a couple, the guest had confetti canons they put off and the couple walked through. She had a second wedding dress she surprised her husband with at the reception. Her wedding ring was stunning, and her favorite color blue, that they custom designed. It was the first geode cake I've seen in person. And the reception venue was so unique, moody, modern, and amazing. The couple did their first dance which was choreographed, and they did so well. They played a couples game and did a dance where whoever was married the longest was the last ones dancing. The cigars that were given to the best men at the ceremony by the groom were lit at the reception. Lastly, it was the brides birthday that day as well and everyone stood in a circle around the couple and sang happy birthday then gave a big group hug. So much laughter, dancing, games, photos in the photo booth, and confetti canon exits. I seriously had the best time and it was a dream to photograph!
